We are a New Zealand based company working to commercialise Gyroscopic Variable Transmission (GVT), a new type of transmission for Wind Power and other applications such as transport. Our other technology is UniClutch, a new type of one way clutch with applications in many areas including with GVT in wind turbines. Both are the inventions our Technical Director, Mr. M. Jegatheeson.

Our current focus is to develop GVT for use in Wind Turbines as there is a demonstrated need for alternatives to traditional gearboxes which are prone to costly failures.

Globally, there could be some 718000 MW installed wind capacity by 2017 according to German researchers.
